Equivalence

Remember: There are several ways to prove equivalence when you have a graphing calculator. Be careful when checking for equivalence using values. The numbers to avoid are 0, 1, and 2.

  2. Bring in your signed Chapter 1 test if you have not already done so.

Opposite of a Sum Property

You need to be really careful about distinguishing h0w the different properties change the simplification process. Some of you are ignoring how the opposite of a sum works.



Homework:

  1. Finish Applying in Lesson 2-4.
  2. Complete the assigned problems in Lesson Masters 2-1A (#6, 10, 11) and 2-2A (5,6, 12, 13). Pass the Lesson Masters in tomorrow (Friday) so they can be corrected and passed back to you.
  3. Study for a quiz on Lessons 2-1 through 2-3 on Monday.
