Oh, no! More Snow!
Surprisingly enough, my street was plowed this afternoon. Mass Ave is a mess near Little Flower. The two lanes headed toward downtown D.C. are blocked by huge snow bank.
I do not think we'll be enjoying a wonderful algebra class on Wednesday based on tonight's forecast so stay tuned for more homework.
Do any of you have any questions so far? I'll post some answers tomorrow.

I started to shovel my walk this morning. Rosie was no help!

Ask questions. I'll check back later. I'll also post the answers so you can check them. Show all work.
Has anyone in class lost power? I did but only for a short time in the middle of the night. A tree in my back yard fell over but fortunately only damaged a fence.

Enjoy the Snow!
By now you should be ready to check your homework from last night. The answers are on the 7-8 math page.
Today's assignment is Review, Lesson 5-4. There are only ten problems.
I will collect your signed Chapter 4 test and test corrections tomorrow. Those are worth two homework grades.
Some of you are interested in raising your midterm grades. You may complete the following assignment, and pass it in tomorrow for a quiz grade. Write out all your work on lined paper making sure you put the proper heading, i.e. name, date, class, on the upper right hand side and writing Optional Algebra Quiz under the heading.
Optional Algebra Quiz: pp. 320-323, # 10, 22, 24, 28, 32. You must show all work!
One last thing...You MUST comment that you are doing this assignment. I will not accept the optional quiz unless you post a comment telling me you are working on it. Any questions?
