You are about finished and a test is coming up. Have plenty of questions for class.

Homework
  1. Finish Lesson 1-7, Applying and Review.
  2. Work on Lesson Masters 1-4 and 1-5 to prepare for Monday's quiz. You already completed 1-6. I will correct them for you tomorrow.
  3. Plan your study time well for Wednesday's test.

  1. Ummm if anyone cares, you go to inequalz in "apps" to get "x="... Just that that was kind of cool...

  2. How do you use "x="? Just instead of y= for problems, you can switch it around to make it x=?

  3. Mrs.Burke- I dont really know what I did, but my calculator screen got a lot darker. Do you know how to fix it?? I will show you tomorrow.

  4. Umm, alinicbr are you sure that you didnt go to mode or something like that and pressed a button that changes the brightness of the screen? And what would you use "x=" for?

  5. alinicbr, Have you tried 2nd then down or up arrow? This adjusts the brightness of the screen. You may need to repeat it a few times (you must release the 2nd key, you cannot just hold it down and type the down arrow many times). I have mine on a 5 right now.

  6. Yeah, Rachelle is right, and you would use "x=" i f want an x= line instead of y=.

  7. Oh and when "inequalz" is on you can change y or x "=" to greater then, less then, greater then or equal to, or greater then or less then, by using "alpha" then one of the five gray keys at the top, the soft keys.

  8. for the homework from friday, the self test, do we have to correct it at home or are we going to correct it in class? I ask because last year Ms. Hogan had us correct it ourselves at home.

  9. I'm not too sure, but I corrected just in case, and i also circled the question that I had trouble with, so that we can discuss about it in class..

Also Alinicbr, Rachelle is correct: press the "2nd" button on you calculator, and then press down on either the "down" button, or the "up" button. Mine is on five right now.
