In Case You Missed the Homework...

Sorry about the rush at the end of class but I had to call carpool for Lower School. Some of you need to email me so you can be invited to join the blog. This is best done ASAP since you will be receiving a grade for blog participation.

Homework
  1. Read Lesson 1-2. You can always ask questions on the blog.
  2. Complete Covering the Ideas and Review, pp. 16-18. There is not a large amount of work to show in Covering the Ideas. In the Review, only questions 16-18 require work to be shown.
  3. Remember that you have a quiz on Lessons 1.1-1.3 on Tuesday.
  4. Have you started your Facebook page yet?

  2. Hi Mrs. Burke. I have a question, when are we going to have our quiz on lessons 1.1-1.3? Is it on tuesday? Or did you move it to Thursday?

Also on my Facebook page, i cant find a good picture of my mathmetician because he lived in 350 BC. What should i do? Put on whichever one i can find?

  3. Also to add to goldie locks' question, are we going to have a review in class before tests and quizzes or is the reviewing up to us?

  6. I think you can change the size of the boxes, but you shouldn't change the format of the page. As long as the required information is included, i'm sure changing the size of the box is fine. At least, that's what I did.

  7. I have another question Mrs. Burke.I am doing the facebook assignment right now, but i am still missing some key information: his hometown, etc. I can't seem to find everything because my "character" lived a very long time ago. Can i just make it up? Or what do you want me to do?

  11. Lots of answers here:
Goldie locks, use whichever pic you can find. If you can't find a hometown, just list the country.

Quiz will be Thursday. By that time you will have finished at least four Review lessons so you all should be ready. If you want Lesson Masters, I will put them together for you.

You are permitted to enlarge text boxes.

All websites used should be listed in the bibliography.

I will be in the Computer Lab on Monday during recess if any of you need help. You can also come by in the morning and during break if you want me to check your page over before you pass in the final copy.
