ReplyDeleteWell numero9's equation was closer than yours! but her numbers weren't.. oh and miss tan, my equation was closer than yours but interestingly, your numbers (so your eyeball sum of squares) was closer than mine... but yeah. :p
ReplyDeleteA big difference between the eyeball line and linear regression line is that linear regression uses vertical distance for the deviation and usually you eyeball perpendicular to the line. I'll explain tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI still don't understand why my equations were SO CLOSE but my eyeball sum of squares was SO FAR OFF. I'm confused.
