Graphs of Quadratic Functions

Today in class, we corrected Lesson 9-2, Covering the Ideas and completed Applying. We went on to Lesson 9-3. If you work through the two activities and pay very close attention to SVU and the x- and y- intercepts, you will be prepared for class on Wednesday.

Homework:
In addition to what is described above, complete Covering in Lesson 9-3.

    To make it easier to find the x-intercept, you can go to CALC, ZERO and then the left and right boundaries and the calculator will tell you where the x-intercept is!!! (you have to do it twice... one for each intercept!)

    oh that explains it...i was using the zero thing to find the y-intercept...whoops.
